〈영어로 읽는 에밀리 브론테의 시〉
Currer, Ellis 및 Acton Bell의 시는 1846년 Bront?의 세 자매인 Charlotte, Emily 및 Anne이 공동으로 출판한 시집이자 그들의 첫 작품이다. 여성 작가에 대한 당시의 편견을 피하기 위해 Bront? 자매는 남성적인 이름을 채택했다. 이 시집은 크게 성공하지는 못하였으나 이를 계기로 소설집필에 집중하게 된다.
The poems of Currer, Ellis and Acton Bell are their first and a collection of poems jointly published in 1846 by Bront?'s three sisters, Charlotte, Emily and Anne. To avoid the prejudice of the time against female writers, the Bront? sisters adopted masculine names. This collection of poems was not a great success, but it was an opportunity to focus on writing novels.
