얼간이 (The Blunderer 또는 The Counterplots-프랑스어로는 L'?tourdi ou les Contretemps)는 영어로 The Bungler로도 알려져 있으며 프랑스 극작가 Moli?re의 5막 연극 코미디이다. 1655년 리옹에서 초연된 후 1658년 11월 파리의 프티 부르봉 극장에서 초연되었다.
줄거리는 부유한 고용주가 가난한 젊은 여성의 애정을 얻도록 돕기 위한 하인의 계획을 따르면서 시작된다.
The Blunderer (or The Counterplots - L'?tourdi ou les Contretemps in French), also known in English as The Bungler, is a five-act theatrical comedy by French playwright Moli?re. After its premiere in Lyon in 1655, it was first performed at the Petit Bourbon Theater in Paris in November 1658.
The plot begins with a servant's plan to help a wealthy employer win the affection of a poor young woman.
줄거리
두 젊은 귀족 Lelio와 Leander는 현재 Lelio와 약혼한 Hippolyta라는 여성과 연애를 하고 있다. 그러나 두 사람은 가족이 돈을 빚지고 있다는 이유로 트루팔딘이라는 늙은 구두쇠에게 노예가 된 젊은 집시인 Celia에게 반하게 된다. Lelio는 그의 하인 Mascarille에게 Hippolyta와의 약혼을 깨고 대신 Celia의 사랑을 얻기 위해 계획을 세우도록 요청하게 되는데…
Two young nobles, Lelio and Leander, are currently dating a woman named Hippolyta, who is engaged to Lelio. However, they fall in love with Celia, a young gypsy who is enslaved by an old mistress named Trufaldin because the family owes money. Lelio is forced to ask his servant Mascarille to break up her engagement with Hippolyta and devise a plan to win Celia's love instead...
