줄거리
두 자매의 구혼자를 중심으로 하며, 각 자매는 두 남자의 와드다. 한 구혼자인 Sganarelle은 의도한 아내 Isabella를 통제하고 압도한다. 다른 구혼자인 Sganarelle의 형 Ariste는 그의 아내 L?onor를 동등하게 대우한다. Ariste는 결국 추구하는 관계에서 성공을 거두지만 Sganarelle은 비참하게 실패하여 실제로 이사벨라가 그녀가 선호하는 중개인 Val?re를 찾는 데 자신도 모르는 사이에 그를 이용하는데…
Summary
It centers around the suitors of two sisters, each sister being the ward of two men. One suitor, Sganarelle, controls and overwhelms her intended wife Isabella.
