쥘 가브리엘 베른(Jules Gabriel Verne, 1828년 ~ 1905년)은 프랑스의 소설가, 시인, 극작가다. 출판사 Pierre-Jules Hetzel과의 협력으로 The Center to the Center of the Earth(1864), Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Seas(1870), 그리고 “80일간의 세계 일주” “해저 2만리’를 포함한 일련의 베스트셀러 모험 소설을 출간하였다.

Published a best-selling adventure novel.
