Summary
The nameless entity is a large metal object covered in strange symbols, and scientists are unable to determine what the symbols mean or what the object is made of. They also cannot find any evidence as to how the object ended up in the desert.
The scientists eventually decide to take the nameless being to the laboratory for further study. However, the object disappears from the laboratory overnight.
