Modern humans have been going by the new name 'Phono sapiens'. This implies that the smartphones we use are now part of humanity. Smartphones have dramatically changed our lives and revolutionized the way we communicate. But in the midst of these changes, we wonder what we are evolving into, and what humanity will look like in the future. From these questions, my novel, “me_Holo Sapiens ", imagines a future where a new entity called a hologram becomes part of humanity, and tells the story of what they're creating.
The main characters of this novel are a person named Ttubucki and his holographic family. They recognize each other's existence through the creative development of the self, and through various experiences, they find true family meaning. Ttubucki and holographic families are entities with different backgrounds and experiences, who meet at an omnibus intersection between two human beings, Phono sapiens and Holo sapiens. In this process, they understand each other's minds, and they explore the nature of true love and relationships. Readers will rethink the meaning of family through their journey.
“me_Holo Sapiens” is not just science fiction. For readers, the space-time between the two humans is designed to give them an imaginative capacity to change, and to deeply enjoy the story according to their respective perspectives. Through the harmonious relationship between a new entity called hologram and phono sapiens, we discover future possibilities, and ask questions about the nature of human existence. Taemin (Lee Min-seok): Ttubucki's younger brother. An active and curious young man.
Hai (Im Yoon-ah): Ttubucki's lover. An intelligent and charming person who went from childhood friends to lovers.
Lia (Lee Soo-min): Trudgi'syounger sister who parted from the world due to acute leukemia in the pandemic era.
