In Part 1, the story is set in Verona, where the longstanding feud between the Montague and Capulet families is introduced. The tale begins with a street brawl and unfolds as Romeo and Juliet meet and fall deeply in love. Despite the hostility between their families, their love blossoms after meeting at the Capulet’s masquerade ball. Their love, sworn in Juliet's garden, leads to a secret marriage with the help of Friar Lawrence. However, the feud intensifies when Romeo kills Tybalt in a duel, resulting in his banishment.
