Miriam, Hilda, Kenyon, and Donatello share their lives and artistic pursuits in Rome. Donatello is portrayed as a being somewhere between human and faun, with his true nature playing a significant role in the story. Miriam harbors an unknown past and struggles to hide her unease, while Hilda and Kenyon follow their own artistic paths. One day, Miriam is pursued by a mysterious man in the catacombs, foreshadowing a tragic event. Donatello grows closer to Miriam, trying to protect her, but his once-innocent nature begins to change. In a secluded forest, Donatello and Miriam share a strange, dreamlike moment, experiencing an almost mythical dance. Meanwhile, Hilda, with her strong sense of faith and morality, becomes increasingly wary of Miriam and Donatello's relationship. Against the backdrop of Rome’s stunning scenery, their fates begin to shift in unpredictable ways.
