Les Misérables, v. 5/5: Jean Valjean Part 1

In the heart of revolution, the barricade becomes a battlefield of destiny. The Faubourg Saint-Antoine and Faubourg du Temple turn into war zones as Marius, Enjolras, and Gavroche resist to the end. Life and death blur atop the barricade, and the fight turns into one of despair and devotion. Jean Valjean spares Javert, choosing moral redemption over vengeance.
