Off on a Comet! a Journey through Planetary Space Part 1

Captain Servadac and Count Timascheff, poised for a duel in Algeria over a musical rivalry, are interrupted by a sudden cosmic upheaval. The Earth seems to shift beneath them, leading Servadac and his loyal aide Ben Zoof to awaken in an altered world. As they observe bizarre changes in gravity, tides, and celestial bodies, it becomes clear they are no longer on Earth but on an unknown celestial object. They embark on exploratory missions, encountering other survivors of different nationalities. Their journey marks the beginning of a strange existence beyond their former terrestrial reality.
