The Invisible Man: A Grotesque Romance Part 1

The story begins in the quiet village of Iping with the arrival of a mysterious man wrapped in bandages and heavy clothes, whose strange experiments and secretive behavior arouse suspicion and tension among the locals, until he violently reveals that he is, in fact, invisible. As he recounts the scientific process that rendered him unseen, his growing instability leads him to manipulate and threaten a man named Marvel, forcing him into reluctant servitude. Marvel attempts to flee as the invisible man becomes increasingly erratic and obsessive, plunging the town into fear and confusion. With each confrontation, the stranger’s control begins to falter, and his inhuman condition isolates him further. The first part builds the eerie atmosphere of unchecked power and the danger of science divorced from morality.
