Woot the Wanderer meets the Tin Woodman, and together they set out on a quest to find the Tin Woodman’s lost love, Nimmie Amee. Along the way, they encounter magical creatures and unusual lands, facing transformations and enchantments. A powerful giantess named Mrs. Yoop casts a spell on them, turning them into animals, which leads to challenges requiring wit and unity. They pass through enchanted forests, face quarreling dragons, and eventually seek help from Ozma and Dorothy. This part is filled with vivid imagination and marks the beginning of a whimsical and daring journey.
