Though imprisoned for breaking the law, Ojo is eventually forgiven thanks to Ozma and Dorothy. His journey continues with daring encounters, such as facing a captive giantess and outwitting the joke-loving Horners. He locates the Dark Well, bribes a lazy Quadling, and crosses a trick river, all while staying determined. Despite objections from the Tin Woodman, Ojo and his friends persist. In the end, the Wonderful Wizard of Oz helps complete the spell, restoring Unc Nunkie and others, bringing closure and harmony.
