Aunt Jane's Nieces on the Ranch Part 1

At El Cajon Ranch, Uncle John and his nieces settle in to care for baby Jane with the help of two nurses, Inez and Mildred. When the baby mysteriously vanishes, panic spreads and the subsequent search yields no clues. Suspicion grows around Inez, whose behavior appears increasingly strange, and other nearby figures act oddly. A strange dinner with neighbors and the sighting of a “ghost” heighten the suspense. This first part builds a tense atmosphere around the baby's disappearance and the mounting unease that follows.
