Kabumpo’s party crosses the Sea of Soup and travels through strange lands like the Road to Ev, meeting fantastic beings. Ruggedo threatens Ozma’s palace, but unexpected allies like the Sand Man help avert disaster. Kabumpo defeats the monstrous Twigs, and Prince Pompadore falls in love with the rightful princess he meets along the way. Ozma steps in to restore order, and Ruggedo is finally trapped in his last rock. In the end, love, bravery, and truth prevail across the land of Oz.
