The story begins as Peter Pan enters the Darling household, and in the search for his shadow, Wendy and her brothers are invited to a world of imagination. Together they fly across the skies to Neverland, a place where fairies, mermaids, pirates, and natives coexist in wonder. Wendy creates a little house and a home under the ground, taking on the role of a mother to the children as they explore. Adventures in the mermaids’ lagoon and the encounter with the strange Never Bird highlight both the magic and dangers of the island. This first part portrays the children’s escape from reality and the enchanting possibilities of imagination.
