The tale begins as Mandy leaves her mountain home and soon finds herself in the Kingdom of Keretaria, where unexpected adventures unfold. A magical message in the horn sets her journey into motion, leading her out of Keretaria and into strange towns and unusual encounters. Along the way, she hears of the Land of Oz and gains mysterious tools, most notably the magic hammer. Meeting the King of the Silver Mountain and descending into the prisoners’ pit heighten the tension and danger. Thus, Part 1 establishes Mandy not merely as a wanderer but as someone destined for a vital role in Oz.
