This work examines the causes of war through the interaction between human impulses and social structures, arguing that conflict arises not merely from national interests but from deeper instincts such as competition and the desire for power, while criticizing traditional justifications of war and emphasizing the need for reform in education and political institutions, and ultimately presenting a vision in which peace becomes achievable through the transformation of both human attitudes and societal systems.
