Snow settles
over altered ground
and forgotten traces.
Now, yet not now;
then, yet not then.
Snow, hill, pavilion, memory.
Four perspectives gather
into a single time.
The present moment, too,
will become
someone’s remembered past.

눈꽃 피는 언덕
용출정
고요한 언덕 위에
눈꽃이 피어납니다.
한때 삶이 머물던 자리,
작은 정자가 서 있고
변모한 땅 위로
눈이 내려앉습니다.
지금이면서도 지금이 아니고,
그때이면서도 그때가 아닌 시간.
눈, 언덕, 정자, 흔적.
네 개의 시선은
하나의 시간으로 모입니다.
지금 이 순간 또한
언젠가
누군가의 지난 시간이 됩니다.
